Recently, while talking to India Today, Deepika Chikhalia expressed her opinion on Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’. She says people should not tamper with religious texts. Meanwhile, she also raised questions on Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana and was seen expressing disappointment. She says: “Frankly speaking, I am very disappointed with all those people who keep making Ramayana. He believes that this should not be done.
“People spoil it. I don’t think Ramayana should be made again and again. Every time it is made, there is an attempt to add something new. Sometimes a new story, a new angle, sometimes a new look.
Deepika Chikhlia also mentioned ‘Adipurush’ on this occasion. He says that just like Kriti Sanon, she was given a pink satin saree in the film. Saif Ali Khan was given a different look because he wanted to do something different in it. In such a situation, she says, you are spoiling the whole effect of ‘Ramayana’. I don’t think anyone should do this. It should be put aside, just don’t do it.
