They did not get more success than expected because they stopped BJP in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka and Rajasthan. Uttar Pradesh is the first state among the five states to stop BJP. In Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party and Congress performed strongly and gave a big blow to Modi and Yogi.
