Dr. Jayant Kumar Roy, a BJP candidate residing in North Bengal, West Bengal, has been re-elected in the 2024 elections. Dr Jayant Kumar Roy defeated Trinamool Congress candidate Nirmal Chandra Roy by 86693 votes. Dr. Jayant Kumar Roy got a total of 766568 votes, while the TMC candidate got 679875 votes. While the candidate of Forward Bloc, a member of the Left Front, Nitish Chandra Roy is at the third position. He got only 30267 votes.
