Kolkata Rape Murder Case: Junior doctors end strike after 41 days, will do duty from today

Junior doctors have been protesting continuously demanding justice in the Kolkata rape and murder case. After a meeting between the junior doctors and Chief Secretary Manoj Pant on Wednesday, the junior doctors announced the withdrawal of the strike from Friday. This decision was taken in a meeting of the General Body of Junior Doctors. After the death of the lady doctor on August 9, the junior doctors were protesting. On Thursday, the junior doctors took out a rally and announced the end of the strike. Junior doctors will march on Friday afternoon and conduct clinics in flood-affected areas. Junior doctors will join emergency services from Saturday.

Protesting junior doctor Aniket Mahato said his agitation will continue. A procession will be taken out from Arogya Bhavan to CGO Complex in Salt Lake at 3 pm on Friday.
