Protesting against the incident, local people and Congress leaders reached the police station and demanded strict action against the guilty soldiers.

Prosecutor Shubhi Vinodiya said that the construction of our house is going on in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar. Someone complained about this to the army men, where in the morning around 8 to 10 men came in an army vehicle and started stopping the construction, the army men misbehaved with us and made us sit in the car due to which we injured our legs. Former councilor Amarchand Bawria said that at around 9.30 this morning, he received a call from Santosh Vinodiya that his daughter Shubhi was being taken away by army personnel in his car.

The former councilor further said that he reached the spot on receiving the information and when I protested, the army personnel released the daughter but caught me and forcibly put me in the car, beat me up and took me away.
