In Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, two sons killed a young man due to the rape of his father. While returning home during Ganapati Visaran, the deceased youth had committed a misdemeanor with the accused youth’s father. This angered the two sons and they got angry and beat the young man to death near the Ganesh pandal. The police arrested both the accused who committed the murder and sent them to jail.
The deceased youth has been identified as Vikas Banjara (23), a resident of Regwa village under Madhotal police station area, who was brutally stabbed to death by two people. There was a sensation in the area after the killing of the youth. Local people and family members put the dead youth’s body on the road and blocked the road and demanded the arrest of the accused and then laid siege to the Madhotal police station.

As soon as the family members of the deceased youth and local people got information about the protest, senior police officers reached the spot. Realizing the seriousness of the matter, the police took immediate action and arrested both the accused. One of the arrested accused is said to be a minor, while the other has been identified as Karan Chaudhary. It is being told about the incident that Ganesh idol was established in Regwan village.

When all the people were returning home after Ganapathi Visaran, the deceased had an argument with the father of the accused regarding some matter and he committed sexual assault on the father of the accused. As soon as the two accused sons came to know about this, they got agitated and to take revenge for the ill treatment done to their father, they stabbed the youth to death.
Vipin Tamrakar, in-charge of Madhotal police station in this matter, said that the preliminary investigation has revealed that the reason for the murder was anger over indecency with the father, due to which the murder was committed. After this incident, there is a tense atmosphere in the village, in view of which, police arrangements have been made to avoid any untoward incident.
