Heavy rain in Delhi

After four days of continuous humidity in Delhi, the capital of the country got relief from rain on Wednesday. The rain has reduced pollution and the air has become cooler and cleaner. Many areas including Vasant Kunj, South Delhi, Ring Road have also witnessed waterlogging. Due to which people had to face a lot of difficulty in transportation. Many routes have been changed due to these problems. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain for the next three days. It will also reduce the temperature.

The Meteorological Department had predicted rain a few days earlier. However, people continued to feel despondent, and were also found to be suffering greatly from the humid heat. On Wednesday, the weather turned pleasant due to rain, clouds in the sky and cold winds blowing in Delhi.

The weather for the next five days

According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain cloudy for the next five days. With overcast skies, moderate to heavy rain is expected over some parts of Delhi NCR. Today Delhi recorded maximum temperature of 34 degree Celsius and minimum temperature of 29 degree Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees for the next four days. Pollution has disappeared from Delhi’s air after the rains. People are able to breathe fresh air.

Buses will not pass through the underpass

Many areas in Delhi are waterlogged during rains. Due to which many vehicles and DTC buses are seen stuck in water. Keeping in view the safety of passengers, the routes of Prahaladpur Underpass, Minto Road Bridge, Zakhira Underpass, Azad Market Underpass and many other areas have been changed.
