A first year MBA student at Delhi’s Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University committed suicide by jumping from a hostel building. Before committing suicide, he messaged his parents, apologized and blamed the hostel warden. After this incident, students on the campus are angry and have been protesting continuously demanding justice.
Gautam, a first-year MBA student, hailed from Vaishali, Bihar. A day earlier, he was expelled from the hostel for allegedly consuming drugs with his friends in the hostel room. Also, the students say that the allegations against Gautham are baseless, he did not do any kind of intoxication.

Gautam comes from an ordinary family in Vaishali district of Bihar. He took a study loan to complete his MBA course. His fellow students say he was pressured to vacate the hostel before 2 pm. Gautam went to the hostel warden to plead several times but the warden did not listen to him.
