The case is from the Hat Police Station area of ​​Purnia. According to the information, criminals in two cars fired at MP Pappu Yadav’s activists at Bhanu bus stand in Haat police station area. Due to the burst of bullets, there was a stampede at the place and people started running here and there.
The criminals opened fire
Regarding the incident, chanting leader Saiyub Alam said that he was drinking tea near the bus stand with 4-5 of his friends. Meanwhile, a young man named Mrityunjay Gupta got out of the car and started abusing her. A man identified as Pramod Sinha got down from the second vehicle and started firing. The chant leader said two bullets were fired at them, after which everyone ran for their lives.
One worker was shot in the chest
During the same stampede, one of his companions named Sajid fell. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the miscreants also ran away. Jap leader Saiyub Alam said that when he went to his comrades, they found that Sajid had been shot in the chest and was bleeding profusely. The injured was immediately rushed to Purnia Medical College, where he was referred to Max Hospital due to his critical condition.
The police are investigating the case
It is being told that Mohammad Sajid Mehboob Khan is a resident of Tola and works at Munna Medical in Line Bazar. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The police have registered a case against the culprits and started investigation.
