Shweta Singh, head of Shivpur panchayat of Rohtas district of Bihar, has been selected by the Prime Minister’s Office to participate in the Independence Day celebrations on August 15. The Panchayati Raj Department has issued this letter and given the information. Mukhia Shweta Singh is a sportsperson by default and is also the athletics coach of Rohtas district. Despite all this, she is doing better in the field, keeping in mind that she has been called to Delhi by the Prime Minister’s Office.

Panchayat chief Shweta Singh has been chosen among the women chiefs of Bihar who have been invited to Delhi as special guests for the Independence Day celebrations this time. In the directives issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, some select women heads of the Bihar State Panchayat Division have been invited to participate in the Independence Day programme.
Will leave for Delhi on 12th August
The government has also made arrangements for all the panchayat presidents called from Delhi to go to Delhi on 12th August. The government will transport all selected Mukhiyas of Bihar from Rajendra Nagar Terminal Railway Station in Patna to Delhi. After reaching Delhi, all the presidents will be present as special guests at the Independence Day program to be held at the Red Fort. Shivpur Panchayat head Shweta Singh has also been invited in this program.
