In Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut district, the STF and Army Intelligence have arrested Natwarlal, who cheated by extorting money in the name of getting a job in the army. The accused arrested by STF and Army Intelligence is Arvind Rana. Arvind Rana, a resident of Badaun district, was himself in the merchant navy and worked as a sweeper. Arvind Rana quit his job due to the fear of sinking the ship. Arvind starts looking for a job in the army, when he doesn’t get a job, he starts scamming unemployed people in the name of getting them army jobs. The STF arrested the accused near the Military Hospital in Meerut on Thursday.

A person named Arvind Rana has been arrested by STF and Army Intelligence in Meerut in a fraud case. Accused Arvind used to cheat money in the name of providing jobs to unemployed youths who were looking for a job in the army. After the arrest, several documents including fake Aadhaar card, military card, joining letter have been recovered from accused Arvind Rana, which have been collected as evidence by the STF. A case has been registered against the accused in Meerut’s Sadar Police Station.

STF Arrest

Giving information, STF ASP Brijesh Singh said that on Thursday, he received information that Arvind Rana was coming to the military hospital in Cantt area to get his medical done through fake means. The STF team planned to arrest him for forging the fitness certificate. When raids were conducted in search of Arvind, the accused was arrested from the spot.

Finds a job in the army and becomes a rogue

He further stated that after leaving the job, Arvind was looking for a job in the army. Arvind Rana met Sauram working in the Merchant Navy and was a resident of Bijnor. Saurabh asked Arvind to meet Yogesh Gautam of Hapud. Saurabh said that Yogesh will get him a job somewhere else. A few days later Arvind spoke to Yogesh Gautam on mobile and went to meet him at Hapur, where Yogesh befriended him with Ajay alias Guruji, Bitu alias Pahlwan and Vishnu alias Balaram of Bagpat.

5 lakh job claim

When Arvind met Ajay and asked him to get him a job, Ajay told him that he could no longer serve in the army as he was too old. Arvind said that it was Ajay who offered him to join the syndicate with him. Ajay told Arvind that he takes 4 to 5 lakh rupees from each candidate and gets him a job. You bring such people to me, we will get them jobs and share the money. Arvind flushed and joined them. By the time they were caught, the entire syndicate had duped 40 people.
