BJP army ready for Maharashtra
In Maharashtra, BJP has fielded a massive army of 13 outside leaders for pre-election preparations. Among them, 6 Union Ministers from other states have been fielded in Maharashtra elections while 7 senior and experienced party leaders have also been deployed in Maharashtra. All these leaders have started work in their respective areas of Maharashtra.
These leaders and Union Ministers have been entrusted with the responsibility of formulating a solid strategy for each assembly seat in Maharashtra. Simply put, BJP has used its full organizational strength in Maharashtra. In all the 6 regions of Maharashtra, General Secretaries of 6 organizations from outside states have been assigned.
Which leader got responsibility where?
In this order, Satish Dhond, general secretary of the organization of Goa, has been given the charge of the Konkan region of Maharashtra. Gujarat General Minister of Organization Ratnakar has been given the responsibility of North Maharashtra. Telangana Association General Secretary Chandrasekhar has been given the responsibility of East Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, while Madhya Pradesh Association General Secretary Hitanand Sharma has been given the responsibility of West Vidarbha. Andhra Pradesh Organization General Secretary Madhukar has been given the responsibility of the Marathwada belt of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh-Chhattisgarh Regional Organization General Secretary Ajay Jamwal has been given the responsibility of the entire West Maharashtra region.

Along with the General Ministers, the organization has fielded 7 senior BJP leaders from neighboring states of Maharashtra to meet through seat analysis. His task will be to hold seat-by-seat meetings with party workers, assembly constituencies, mandal and district BJP units and prepare report cards of local MLAs. Apart from this, these leaders will also work on local issues, mobilizing workers and coordinating with local units of allied parties.
Duty of Kailash, Prahlad and Narottam
Among the external leaders appointed in Maharashtra, senior BJP leader and Madhya Pradesh cabinet minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has been given charge of Nagpur and MP cabinet minister Prahlad Patel has been given charge of Yavatmal and Wardha districts. Narottam Mishra, the third senior BJP leader from MP, has been given the job of Bhandara and Gondia districts in Maharashtra. The party has given the Ahmednagar job in the state to former BJP national general secretary Anil Jain, while senior Karnataka BJP leader and former national general secretary CT Ravi has been given the Pune and western Maharashtra job. BJP leader Arvind Menon has been given the responsibility of Sambhaji Nagar in Maharashtra and Gujarat MLA and former BJP Yuva Morcha national president Amit Thackeray has been given the responsibility of Nashik.
All these leaders are working on small matters at state-wise assembly level seats. All these leaders will look at things from workers’ problems or resentment to people’s inclination towards the local MLA.
Bhupendra Yadav, Ashwini Vaishnav are already at work
It is to be noted that BJP’s winning pair of election in-charges Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwani Vaishnav have started work in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections in Maharashtra. Bhupendra Yadav spends most of his time in Maharashtra and is busy sharpening the party’s strategy. This time BJP is making different strategies for each assembly constituency according to caste and social equations. The BJP has strategized that NDA ally Shiv Sena (Shinde) and Ajit Pawar’s NCP candidates will share tickets with BJP candidates keeping in view the caste and social equations.
