Harvesting is done every year during the rains.

Let us tell you that Sonprayag is the confluence of Sen Ganga and Mandakini. Every year during the rainy season, especially when it rains heavily in the Himalayas, both these rivers bask in the sun. The strong flow of these rivers also causes erosion in the riparian areas. When these rivers wash downstream, the hills above begin to crack and thus landslides occur. Son Prayag-Gourkund road has been destroyed due to this erosion and landslide.
