Adeeb, Armaan, Aamir, Sharik and Faiz, accused of the vehicle theft gang, were produced before a judicial magistrate for remand on September 16. Policemen shot a video of the incident which went viral on social media. In this video, it is seen that Inspector Sachin slept on the railway track to commit suicide and started waiting for the train, after which fellow policemen reached there and somehow persuaded him to remove him from there. What did the judge say?

On September 18, the judge wrote a 2-page letter against the inspector. He said in this that on September 16, 4 accused namely Adeeb, Shariq, Aamir, Arbaaz and Faiz were brought before the court. I have examined the documents and FIR copy given for remand. All were accused of bike theft, the recovery of the bike was also shown, but still there was not enough evidence to send the accused to police remand. Apart from this, the medical report of the accused revealed that there were injury marks on his body which means that he was assaulted. Even his family was not informed and was not mentioned about his arrest. There were irregularities in the arrest of the accused, after which I refused to remand the inspector.

Police conducted further investigation

The judge said in his complaint letter that when he gave the order, Sachin Kumar, the investigating officer of the case, remarked to the full court that the police did not have enough time to give such useless information to the families. The accused judge said that after hearing this comment, he told the inspector that the court sees that the rights of the accused are not being violated. To which the inspector replied that the job of the remand magistrate is to remand, the police should not see the details of the documents of any accused brought, the magistrate has the compulsion to remand. Currently, SP City Mrigang Shekhar Pathak said that the judge has filed a complaint against the inspector. The case is being investigated. The inspector is also being questioned. Every fact connected with the case is being investigated so that everything becomes clear. Further action will be taken based on the investigation.
