Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Bhoomipujan program of a world class hygiene non-woven unit (non-woven fabric) set up by the TWE-OBT industrial group at Acharpura industrial area in Bhopal.

An industrial summit will be held in Kolkata on September 19

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a series of industry summits were started at the regional level to promote industrialization in all sectors of the state. In this, summits have been organized in Ujjain, Jabalpur and industrial summits are going to be organized soon in Gwalior, Rewa, Sagar etc. This is helping to invite investment and encourage industrial activities in all parts of the state.

About 75 thousand employment opportunities have been created so far through industrial activities. Industrial summits are also organized in progressive and industrially rich areas of the country like Mumbai, Coimbatore and Bangalore etc. In this sequence, an industrial summit will also be organized in Kolkata on 19th September. Big investors of the country and industrialists willing to expand industrial activities are being invited to Madhya Pradesh through the Industrial Summit.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also invited TWE-OBT to set up employment oriented units like carpet manufacturing in Madhya Pradesh.

The group is one of the world’s top non-woven manufacturing companies, with 12 plants operating in various countries. OBT Rs. It is setting up the unit with an investment of over 126 crores, which will manufacture non-woven hygiene products such as ADL, top seat and back seat which are currently imported from China.

With the operation of this unit, their production will begin in India itself, which will be an important step towards a self-reliant India. Dedicated to the goal of industrialization, the unit will provide direct employment to over 250 people, and also pave the way for the development of high quality technical skills among local individuals. The state government has allocated 38 thousand square meters of land in Acharpura industrial area of ​​Bhopal for the unit. Commercial production from the unit is likely to start by September 2025.
