A B-Tech student was locked in the first room by the hostel in-charge in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura. He was then brutally beaten. When the video of the incident went viral on social media, the police swung into action, registering an FIR against the warden, the hostel owner and his brother. It is being said that there was a dispute between the two parties regarding vacating the hostel. The in-charge of the hostel was furious. In this anger he started fighting.
A viral video shows how a student is being beaten up. Hearing the screams of the victim, her friends intervened. Only then the student’s life could be saved. The case is of Lavi Hostel located on Ajai Highway in Jain Police Station area. Kirti Sengar, a student studying B.Tech in a private university, lived in this hostel.
He said- I am originally from Hathras district. From August 2022 these beautiful girls are staying in the hostel. But on Tuesday (September 17) evening, after vacating the hostel and settling accounts, she shifted to another place. Ruby, the warden living there, commented on it. I replied to him about this. Just because of this the hostel owner and the warden got angry with me. He attacked me.

The victim said- ‘First there was a fight. Then the matter escalated. Hostel in-charge Jaipal, his brother and Warden Ruby all three locked the door of the room and started beating me. I was alone and those three people. I started screaming for help. Then my friends Mohini, Aastha, Khushi and other girls from the hostel arrived here. Seeing all this, she was also frightened. But still he saved me somehow.
FIR against three people
Some girls present there also made a video of this incident. The victim informed his family about this and the family reached the spot. By then this video had also gone viral on social media. After reaching the police station, the girl and her family again registered a case against the accused. The police station in-charge said – a case has been registered against three people on the girl’s complaint. We also have viral videos. It is being investigated. Action will be taken against the accused.
