A girl resident of a village in the Gola police station area told the police that she had befriended a young man during her studies. Then a love affair was formed between the two of us. The young man physically abused her on the pretext of marriage. But then she refused to marry. I complained to the police, but the officers continued to ignore me. On the other hand, the police say that the girl had complained a few days ago, so we were going to register a case and take action, but the girl herself refused. He said if my lover goes to jail then who will marry me? In such situation we have not taken any action.

The girl said that a panchayat was also held regarding the marriage. In such a situation, the young man was ready for marriage at that time. Both of them were also preparing for marriage, but later due to some unexplained reasons, they had a rift and then he refused to marry her, after which the girl again started running to the police station. Even at this time, when she came to the police station, she was forcing the young man to marry me. No action should be taken against him. In such a situation, to create pressure, she suddenly brought something in a liter bottle and poured it on herself and was going to light a matchstick. It was a good coincidence that he saved her when a young man standing nearby caught sight of her, otherwise the entire police station would have been humiliated.

On coming to know about this incident, SP South Jitendra Kumar reached Gola police station and investigated the entire matter. He said that the girl never wanted any action against the young man. She was just trying to use the police to put pressure on them. The police also tried from his side, but do not know why the young man was angry and not ready for marriage. In such a situation, after receiving a complaint letter from the girl, a case has been registered against the main accused Ankit and his family and he has been arrested. Police will take further action based on evidence and facts.
