Conspiracy to derail the Freedom Fighter Express
A major tragedy was narrowly averted in Uttar Pradesh’s Gazipur late at night. Here, the Freedom Fighter Express from Jayanagar Bihar to New Delhi reached near Alam Patti area between Gazipur Ghat station and Gazipur City station at around 3:00 pm, when the driver noticed a large piece of wood between the railway tracks. After which the driver applied the emergency brake due to which a major accident was avoided.
Even after the emergency brake was applied, the train came to a stop about 400 meters ahead, dragging the wood with it. When the driver looked down, he saw a large piece more than 2 feet long. After this, the railway driver immediately informed the track inspector and the RPF as well as the Gazipur city station administration. After this, the entire railway department immediately reached the spot.
Engine hose pipe cut
When the driver checked to move the train forward, it was found that the hose pipe of the engine was cut, due to which it was difficult to move the train forward. After this, after about 2 hours of work, another engine was called from Orihar and the train could be sent forward. Now in this matter JE Nishant Kumar Singh of Railway Track Inspector Division of Gazipur city has filed a complaint in Sadar Kotwali. In the complaint, he stated that when train number 12561 Up Senadar Senani Express was coming from Gazipur Ghat Station to Gazipur City Station, a piece of wood was found standing between the railway tracks under Zamania Railway Over Bridge, after which the driver applied emergency brake but still the wood fell. The piece got stuck in the engine and rubbed it and went forward for about 400 meters. Kotwali police have registered a case in this matter.
