Everyone is shocked by the mysterious death of a student in the hostel. The case is ‘The Horizon’ a private hostel school. The child’s family was informed by the school that their child was very ill and that they should get to the school immediately to see him. When the family members reached the school, they found the student dead. The school principal and teacher said that he hanged himself.

In fact, Jishu, son of Vishnu Mandal, who lives in Kumaripur under Manihari police station area, was studying in 5th standard. The family got news from the school that Jishu was very ill and went to the school to see him. Hearing the news of his illness, the family members rushed to the school and found Jishu lying dead. When the family members spoke to the school principal and teacher, they told them that Jeeshu had committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope.

The school administrator was taken hostage

The family could not bear that 13-year-old Jishu committed suicide. When the family closely inquired and observed the surroundings, they suspected that Jishu had not committed suicide, but had been murdered and it was being termed as suicide. The news of student Jishu’s murder spread like wildfire in the village. After reaching the school, the villagers created a ruckus and took the director of the school, Kamal Kumar Nirala hostage. As soon as the information was received, the police team also reached the spot.

Two arrested, including a teacher

The police have taken the school director Kamal Kumar Nirala and teacher Mohammad Raja into custody. After this, the body of the student was sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The family accused the school director and teacher of murdering the child Jishu and hiding the evidence, saying that something must have happened to a 13-year-old boy Jishu could not have taken such a suicidal step. People associated with the school are trying to hide the truth.

Police officer Alok Rai said that prima facie it appears to be a case of suicide but the police will wait for the postmortem report. We will take further action after receiving the report. He said a postmortem was conducted and the body was handed over to the family.
