Attack on Hindu faith before Azamgarh festival
A new controversy arose in an audition being held during a festival in Uttar Pradesh’s Azamgarh. A shocking case of hurting Hindu religious faith has come to light here. During the Azamgarh Mahotsav fashion show here from September 18 to 20, images of Hindu gods and goddesses were seen on the clothes of artists depicting the temples of Kashi. Now a new controversy has arisen regarding these pictures.
Apart from Kashi’s temples, images of Lord Krishna and Radhika in artists’ clothes were also featured in fashion shows. Also, the temples were built on the skirts of the female artists which seemed to be on their feet. After this, Hindu organizations and all religious leaders of Azamgarh district have openly opposed it and demanded that an FIR be registered against the organizers and designers who auditioned for the festival.
Protests are happening on social media
The protests didn’t stop there, people have been posting on social media continuously expressing their protest and demanding that people who hurt their faith in the name of Hindu gods and goddesses should never be forgiven. Dharmacharya Satyam Guru, a resident of Azamgarh, has strongly condemned the act and has also demanded strict action through social media. Talking to the media, Satyam Guru said that such people have no right to live in the society and strict action should be taken against those who are involved in this whole matter.
‘Negligence will not be tolerated in the name of faith’
He said that carelessness in the name of faith will never be tolerated. Also Dharmacharya Satyam Guru says that we have taken time from the Chief Minister to get information about this whole matter and soon the whole matter will be informed to the Chief Minister. Bharatiya Janata Party has also opened a front against the administration in this whole matter and BJP leader Harbans Mishra has also condemned it in the media. He said that what has been done to the faith of Hindus is unforgivable. At the same time, RTI activist Pathuram Vishwakarma has complained through a letter to Kashi Vishwanath temple religious leader and Inspector General of Police and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and demanded action.
