Sunil Pandey has been a three-time MLA from Piro (now Tarri) seat.
The 90s has always been a memorable period in Bihar politics. This was the period when Lalu Prasad’s rule as the Chief Minister of the state began. In the same decade, there was a resident of Nawadih village in Rohtas district named Kamleshi Pandey. Kamleshi Pandey, who studied engineering, belonged to the Bhumihar caste. Kamleshi also used to take small contracts as contracts were awarded for extracting sand in Rohtas district. He had a strong image in the surrounding areas, so there was no particular obstacle to his work. Narendra Pandey is the son of Kamleshi Pandey, who is also known as Sunil Pandey in Bihar politics today.
The Bengaluru incident changed the track

He thought that his son would become something by studying, but in this very city of Bengaluru, fate played such a trick that the track of Sunil Pandey’s entire life changed. Sources say that Sunil Pandey had an altercation with a boy during his stay in Bengaluru. In this fight, Sunil Pandey stabbed the boy. After this he returned to his home in Nawadih, Rohtas.
When I met Sillu Mian

Sillu Mian was considered close to late Baahubali MP Shahabuddin of Siwan. Circumstances arose that Sunil Pandey got to know Sillu Mian and he soon became Sillu Mian’s right-hand man. Sunil Pandey is said to have taken his first class in the world of crime from Sillu Miyan’s school.

Sunil Pandey’s name came up in this, but a case was not registered due to lack of any kind of evidence. After this incident, Sunil Pandey’s monopoly on sand contracts was established in Ara and its surrounding areas.
Two time MLA from JDU
Sunil Pandey has been MLA four times. He has been MLA twice from JDU and once from Samata Party. The most important thing is that Sunil Pandey has done his PhD on Lord Mahavir and his name is preceded by Doctor. In 2000, he won election from Piro constituency and reached the Bihar Legislative Assembly for the first time. After this he continued his winning streak. He won the assembly elections held in February 2005 by over 35,000 votes, but President’s rule was imposed as no party secured a majority. A few days later the Bihar Assembly was dissolved.
Elections were held again in the month of October this year. NDA came back to power in this election. This was the year Sunil Pandey joined the JDU and managed to register victory again. In 2015, Sunil Pandey again switched parties and joined Ram Vilas Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party. He was made spokesperson in this party.
When Brahmeshwar had a conflict with Muliyaji
Whenever the 90s are mentioned in Bihar politics, Ranveer Seva’s name definitely comes up. In fact, this was the time when Bihar witnessed several massacres one after the other. This was a period of ethnic genocide. The name Ranveer Sena came into being during this period. The special feature of this army was that it consisted mostly of members of the Bhumihar caste. The head of this army was Mukhiyaji i.e. Brahmeshwar Mukhiya. It is said that in the meantime Sunil Pandey also joined Ranveer Sena. There was an incident in 1993, when news spread that the owner of a brick kiln had been murdered.
The same thing happened when Sunil Pandey and Brahmeshwar Mukhia faced each other. Informants say that in January 1997, three people were killed simultaneously in Bagar village of Tarri block. Mukhiyaji was to blame for this. A woman is also included in the dead. All the deceased belonged to the Bhumihar caste. It is said that the deceased woman was a close relative of Sunil Pandey. After this the tension started between Sunil Pandey and Brahmeshwar Mukhia continued. When Mukhia Ji was killed on June 1, 2012, tensions continued between Sunil Pandey and Mukhia Ji.
Then gave an affidavit of 23 crimes
Sunil Pandey became the subject of debate when he gave his election affidavit before contesting the 2010 assembly elections. He cited 23 criminal cases in the election affidavit. This includes cases like attempted murder, robbery, kidnapping, extortion and extortion. The special thing is that the then CM Nitish Kumar gave ticket to Sunil Pandey, although everyone was surprised by this decision of CM Nitish Kumar.
When there was an explosion in Ara Court
On 30 January 2015, a blast in the Civil Court of Arah created a sensation in Arah. Two people lost their lives in this blast. After the blast, there were reports that two prisoners named Lambu Singh and Akhilesh Upadhyay had escaped from the civil court, but when the matter was investigated, it was revealed that Lambu Singh himself had carried out the incident. However, in June 2015, Lambu Singh was caught by the Delhi Police. When the police interrogated him, he said that Sunil Pandey had helped him escape from the jail. After this SP called Sunil Pandey to his office and arrested him.
Name in doctor kidnapping case
In March 2003, news spread like wildfire in Bihar, when it came to light that a resident of Patna and a well-known neurosurgeon of the country, Dr. Ramesh Chandra was kidnapped. Later, information also surfaced that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of 50 lakh rupees. However, seeing the high profile case, the Bihar Police acted quickly and Dr. from Naubatpur area of ​​the capital itself. Found Ramesh Chandra. When the case was investigated, the name of Sunil Pandey came up. At that time RJD was in government in the state and Sunil Pandey was the Samata Party MLA. Sunil Pandey along with three others were sentenced to life imprisonment in the case in 2008, but were acquitted when the matter reached the High Court.

That day in June 2012 was a newsworthy one in Bihar politics. When the news came that Ranveer Seva chief Brahmeshwar Mukhia had been killed.
