Now Wi-Fi facility will be available on flights, this airline started the service

There is great news for air passengers. Vistara, one of the largest airlines in the country, has ordered the launch of Wi-Fi service on flights. The company itself has posted this information on social media.

In a first for the Indian aviation sector, Vistara has announced that it will now provide 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi on its international flights. This service will be available across all cabin categories of Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and Airbus A321neo aircraft. With this, Vistara has become the first airline to start this facility in India. Passengers will have the option to avail the service using their debit/credit cards.

The company published the information.

In a post on X, the airline said, “Don’t miss out on important updates even at an altitude of 35,000 feet! Get 20 minutes of free Wi-Fi on board, a first for Indian aviation. You can now purchase select plans using Indian credit/debit cards in addition to internationally issued credit cards.”

It says that to purchase the plan, passengers will need to make sure that their email address is registered and active with their bank. After that, after OTP verification, they will be able to use this service.

Vistara Chief Commercial Officer Deepak Rajawat said, “At Vistara, we are committed to continuously improving our customer experience. We are pleased to once again lead the way and become the first Indian airline to offer free Wi-Fi on international flights across all cabins. We are confident that customers will appreciate this value addition, which is aimed at making their Vistara journey more convenient, productive and luxurious.”

It will cost so much

The company said Vistara international flights provide internet connectivity, including a free chat facility for all Vistara Club members throughout the flight, irrespective of their tier or cabin class. For other passengers, unlimited messaging on apps such as WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger is available at Rs 372.74 plus GST. The airline charges Rs 1,577.54 plus GST for in-flight internet access, which includes integrated audio and video streaming for social media and web content. For Rs 2,707.04 plus GST, customers can enjoy unlimited data supporting all streaming protocols.
