You must have seen many boards like ‘Learn to English Quickly’ or ‘Learn to Speak English Instantly’, but have you ever seen an institute that teaches English in the daylight? In Madhya Pradesh’s Burhanpur, a liquor contractor has installed such a board in front of his shop, seeing which people are not only laughing but also raising objections. Surprisingly, this is not even a board of an organization. The board has been put up for a liquor shop, which has now been objected to by the district collector.
A liquor contractor had written on the board of the shop, ‘Learn to speak English at road-lights’, to which the district collector has registered an objection and ordered the excise department to remove the board immediately, and students passing by have also raised vehement protests over the matter.

In fact, to mislead the students, a liquor contractor has put up a board on the bypass connecting Nachan Kheda village in Madhya Pradesh’s Burhanpur, asking them to learn to speak English in daylight. School-college students often pass by here and after seeing such misleading posters, social workers and students have raised strong protests.
Question mark on excise department
Seeing this poster, every passer-by is questioning the Excise Department as the then Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had ordered the removal of liquor shops from the highway a few years ago, but still the rogue liquor contractors are going rogue. Running like this they don’t even confuse the students with their banner posters. However, it seems that now the issue will be worked on and such misleading posters will be removed.
