In Purnia, Bihar, a husband beat his wife with an iron rod. The husband suspected that his wife was having an immoral relationship with his own elder brother. Due to which he killed his wife first. After which he himself tried to commit suicide. After the incident, the police took possession of the dead body and sent it for postmortem. The killer’s husband has also been arrested.
The whole case of husband beating his wife belongs to Asja Mobaiya Panchayat of Bayasi Police Station area of ​​Purnia district. Where the husband brutally killed his wife due to suspicion of immoral relationship. The deceased has been identified as Kavita Devi (27), a resident of Bajati village in Bayasi police station area. Who got married 7 years ago to Zhulum Sharma who lives in Jabar Malhariya village. Even after the marriage, there were quarrels between the two over small matters.
Dowry murder
After the murder, the husband came to the in-laws and killed the wife, the family members of the deceased are saying that the murder was due to dowry while carrying out the illicit relationship. After the murder, the husband says that he has no regrets in the whole matter. The deceased’s sister says that both have two children. There were daily fights between the two. The accused husband wanted to get rid of his wife. So he used to quarrel with him and beat him.

After the villagers came, they broke the gate and stopped the accused from dying and reported the incident to the police after tying his hands and feet.

The accused husband said that the wife was having an affair with his elder brother. For this reason the accused killed his wife.
