Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is going to resign from his post today. It is said that he will also meet the LG today at 4.30 pm. Before resigning from the post, CM Arvind Kejriwal will hold a meeting with the Aam Aadmi Party’s legislative party. In this meeting, along with Kejriwal’s resignation, the name of the legislative party leader will go for election and his letter of support will be prepared. It is said that this meeting will be held today at 11 am at the Chief Minister’s residence.
By resigning, Kejriwal is using investigative agencies like CBI and ED to try to send a message to the public that there was a political conspiracy against him, yet he continued to work. 5 names are coming up for the new CM. In which the names of Delhi government ministers Kailash Gehlot, Atishi, CM Kejriwal’s wife Sunita along with Saurabh Bhardwaj and Gopal Rai are included.
There are reports that a special session of the Delhi Assembly may be called to try to pass a trust motion and send a message that all AAP MLAs are one. In this session, Kejriwal may also announce the future roadmap. This roadmap will set the tone for the upcoming Delhi assembly elections.
