Deepika Padukone, the queen of Bollywood industry and one of the top actresses, has many big records till now. About 17 years ago, Deepika entered Hindi cinema with Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Om Shanti Om’. The very first film of the actress turned out to be brilliant and she established her foot in Bollywood. Whenever Deepika Padukone joins hands with Shahrukh Khan for films, the result is something to behold. However, she has such a huge record that every actress has to work hard to break.
Deepika Padukone made history
In fact, Deepika Padukone has created history in the last two years. He has done this feat not once or twice but thrice. Deepika Padukone is so far the only actress in Hindi cinema whose films have grossed more than Rs 1000-1000 crore. This series started from ‘Pathan’ and continues till ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. The year 2023 proved to be as great for Shah Rukh Khan as it was for Deepika. Breaking all records with ‘Pathan’, Shahrukh-Deepika’s ‘Jawaan’ was also released last year. ‘Jawaan’ also beats ‘Pathan’ in terms of earnings. Now Deepika Padukone’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has released on June 27, which has earned more than Rs 1000 crore so far.
Neither Alia nor Katrina, are in any competition
It will be very difficult for Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif to break Deepika Padukone’s huge record of Rs 1000 crore each. Expectations were high from Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan’s ‘Tiger 3’. The film from the YRF spy universe was speculated to feature both Pathan and Jawan. But this could not happen. Despite Katrina’s best efforts and terrific action, ‘Tiger 3’ earned only Rs 466.63 crore worldwide. Currently, Katrina doesn’t have any big project through which she can shake Deepika’s throne.
