Politics on the Nevada Fire Incident

A fire broke out in the Dalit colony of Nawada and a volcano of casteism erupted in Bihar politics. The ruling party and the opposition started making caste-based comments at each other. Surprisingly, Lalu Yadav, Lalu Pal are said to belong to Geredi caste while Jitan Ram Manjhi, Jitan Sharma are said to belong to Bhumihar caste. Ironically, instead of healing the wounds of the victims of Nawada fire, more salt of caste politics is being sprinkled on them. Maybe no one cares about the victims.

This is the last battle between Bihar’s caste system and caste politics. In any case, the insistence of caste does not go here. Casteism has become central to Bihar politics. In the Dalit colony of Krishnanagar, Navada, every party is busy wreaking havoc on the gangsters and making political gains. Many animals were burnt in the fire. Many rescuers got their hands burned, but politics is causing the blisters to burst.

Manjhi attacked RJD

When hooligans set fire to Krishnanagar Dalit Colony in Nawada over a land dispute, the first thing to do was to find out which caste people lived in the colony and which caste the arsonists belonged to. The pain of the fire victims was left behind. Caste politics came to the fore. Most of the victims of the fire belong to the Manjhi i.e. Musahar caste, so Union Minister Jitanram Manjhi also came forward. He described the arsonists as RJD workers.

Tejashwi used to call Manjhi ‘Bhumihar’.

Tejashwi Yadav came forward after Jitanram Mazi’s allegations. Tejashwi Yadav changed the caste of Jitan Ram Manjhi. Tejaswi said that Jitan Ram Manjhi should now be affectionately called Jitan Sharma and not Jitan Ram Manjhi.

Manjhi wrote ‘Lalu Pal’ to Lalu Yadav

Then Jitanram Manjhi also did not delay in changing the caste of Lalu Prasad Yadav. He wrote ‘Lalu Pal’ to Lalu Yadav on social media. He taunted – say proudly that we are Musahar. Then the Bharatiya Janata Party also rose in support of Manjhi.

Criminals have no caste

However, Bihar has a long history of genocide caused by caste conflicts. The poison of casteism is also being mixed in the Nawada fire incident. There is caste politics or caste in politics but people forget that crime and criminals have no caste. Nawada incident is also a heinous criminal incident arising out of land dispute. This was not done by one caste against another but by the freedmen by seizing 15 acres of land.
