MVA meeting was held in Maharashtra on Friday
The seat distribution formula in Mahavikas Aghadi is almost decided. According to sources, out of 288 seats, Thackeray has 100 seats, Congress also has 100 seats, Pawar’s NCP has 84 seats and 4 seats belong to allies. It is believed that the three parties have reached an agreement on 60 percent of the seats.
There are differences in some places regarding seat swapping, but the leaders say that this too will be resolved soon by taking the local leaders into confidence. The MVA is keeping an eye on rebel leaders who might spoil the game. That is why they are talking about taking local leaders into confidence.
The politics of Maharashtra was also discussed in the meeting
After the MVA meeting, NCP Sharad Pawar’s group leader Jitendra Awad said that the first discussion was on the politics of Maharashtra, pollution of the environment, efforts to incite riots. The changing politics of the country was discussed and the seats were also discussed. As far as seat sharing is concerned, there are 288 seats in the state so there will be controversy, but I have never seen the kind of affinity that is being seen.
Jitendra Awad said- There is no conflict in MVM
He said there was no tension, everyone was talking in a calm atmosphere. On the issue of seat exchange, Jitendra Awad said that seat exchange has to be done. Candidates have to be exchanged. On the question of the next meeting, he said that the next meeting will be held tomorrow.
PM Modi’s statement is said to be politically motivated
On PM Modi’s statement regarding keeping Ganapati idol in police vehicle in Karnataka, Jitendra Awad said that he does not know why he is making such a statement. Shall we oppose Ganapati? Ganapati Bappa is being politicized just for the sake of politics. It should not happen.
Assembly elections are going to be held in Maharashtra in November. Discussions have started between the ruling party and the opposition parties regarding the meetings before the elections. The state has the BJP-Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar group’s NCP on one side, while the MVA, which includes the Congress, the Uddhav Thackeray group’s Shiv Sena and the Sharad Pawar group’s NCP, is on the other. This is primarily a political battle between the six parties.
