Radical Islamic forces have grown in strength following violent protests in Bangladesh. Cadres of Jamaat-e-Islami Mujahideen Bangladesh ie JMB are gathering at the border. These hardened terrorists can launch a major attack on the Indian security forces under the cover of the crowd. Intelligence agencies have received important inputs in this regard, after which security agencies on the Indo-Bangladesh border have been alerted.
Apart from this, the intelligence agency has also received inputs that extremist groups are planning to enter India from across the border. Many Bangladeshi citizens are trying to come to India due to the current situation in Bangladesh on the Indo-Bangladesh border.
A huge crowd has gathered at the Indo-Bangladesh border and extremist groups are taking advantage of it and trying to infiltrate into India. Keeping this in mind, vigilance has been increased at the border.

Security agencies have issued an alert saying that militants of the banned Islamic militant outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) and other criminals have escaped from jails there, so these militants may infiltrate and be caught.
There is terror among minorities due to violence in Bangladesh. Many of them have moved towards the Indo-Bangladesh Indian border. Especially in West Bengal, after the situation worsened in Bangladesh, large crowds of minorities are gathering at the border. They want to enter India. The minority citizens of Bangladesh are very vulnerable to violence.
To round up the aggrieved Bangladeshi nationals at the border
A huge crowd of Bangladeshi minority nationals, numbering around 500, has gathered at three checkpoints on the India-Bangladesh border. The three posts where crowds have gathered are Siliguri, Kishanganj and Mukesh post. Siliguri post is in West Bengal, which is very important.
The BSF is maintaining constant contact with the Border Guard of Bangladesh and detaining these nationals in their own country as per rules.
Commander level officials of BSF and Border Guard Bangladesh are in constant touch and monitoring the situation. Only those with valid legal documents are allowed to enter the Indian border through the Integrated Check Post, where regular trade has also begun.
