Ever since Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced his resignation as Chief Minister, he has been under fire from the opposition. It is being alleged that he is doing this for political gain. In this series, Uttar Pradesh government minister Omprakash Rajbhar hit out at Kejriwal saying that he is doing drama. While talking to reporters in Lucknow on Monday, he said that Kejriwal has taken this decision keeping in mind the Delhi elections.
Rajbhar said, This is a drama, elections are due in 2025, so he (Arvind Kejriwal) will resign now and then shout that Election Commission should conduct immediate elections. They will go around and garner public sympathy by saying that we have resigned in your interest, we want your well-being, this central government does not want your well-being.

Earlier, BJP attacked Kejriwal and said that why 48 hours is needed for the resignation of the Chief Minister of Delhi. BJP said if Kejriwal can’t sign any file then what is his personal business? The BJP alleged that Kejriwal is the first Chief Minister who has been barred by the Supreme Court from going to office or signing any file.

Delhi may get a new CM today
A meeting of the Aam Aadmi Party MLA will be held at the Chief Minister’s residence today i.e. on September 17 at 11 am. It is expected that Kejriwal may submit his resignation and the name of the new chief minister may be approved. After being granted bail by the Supreme Court in the Delhi liquor scam, Kejriwal on Sunday announced that he will resign as CM after two days and will not sit on the chief minister’s chair until the public asks.
