4 NIA locations raided in Punjab, raids in Khalistani supporters case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has raided 4 places in Punjab today i.e. September 20, in a case related to Khalistani supporters and gangsters in Punjab. The NIA had filed a complaint at its headquarters last year in this matter. At that time, the National Investigation Agency registered cases against people involved in anti-national activities in Punjab and other parts of the country.

This raid is also happening at the house of Kulwant Singh, who lives in Bilaspur, Moga, Punjab. Kulwant Singh’s name has come up in some recent cases. Some time ago during the recorded statements of some of the accused, Kalwant Singh’s name came up for being involved in suspicious activities. Kulwant is also accused of sharing pro-Khalistan content through his social media handle.

NIA is conducting continuous raids in Punjab

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has been conducting continuous raids in Punjab in cases related to Khalistan supporters and gangsters. A few days ago, raids were conducted at several places in Punjab in connection with the attack on the Indian High Commission in Ottawa, Canada by Khalistani supporters. Amar Jot Singh, brother-in-law of independent MP Amritpal Singh from Khandur Sahib, Punjab, is an accused in the case.

On March 12 this year, NIA teams conducted raids at 30 locations in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chandigarh, due to the growing nexus of Khalistan supporters and gangsters in Punjab, criminal and seditious activities are on the rise in the state. It is a matter of national concern.
