Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya.

After the High Court’s decision, the issue of recruitment of 69 thousand teachers is at the center of UP politics. Candidates from the OBC community are on strike since Tuesday. Sometimes in scorching heat and sometimes in extreme humidity and rain, the students stand firm. All are determined to return after taking the appointment letter. In any case all these yogis are not ready to give three months time to the government. The High Court has given three months time to the state government to prepare a new merit list. The OBC students who are on strike fear that the matter may go to the Supreme Court. For the last four years, candidates have been fighting from the streets to the courts.

The entire politics of UP has become centered on the OBC and SC vote bank. Hence the entire opposition is with the protesting candidates. Akhilesh Yadav is constantly supporting him. He has said that the merit list can be prepared in just three hours. Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav alleged that the UP government’s intentions are not good. He wants to keep the matter pending till the next election. BSP Chief Mayawati is also with the children who are agitating on this issue.

This poster is going viral on social media

A letter and a poster are going viral on social media. OBC candidates have been protesting in front of the Directorate of Education in Lucknow since Tuesday morning. Some women were seen waving posters here. Slogans are handwritten on yellow posters. Thanks Keshav Prasad Maurya, Govt should appoint us. The protesting students are shouting various slogans. In one of the slogans, he was seen calling Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya Keshav Chacha.

Amarendra Patel, who is leading the protest, says that we all met Keshavji at his house last year. Even while in the government, he has always supported our demands. That is why we want him to listen to us and also inform the Chief Minister. Among the protesting students, there is also a lot of discussion about UP Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya’s letter. A few days ago there were news of tension between CM Yogi Adityanath and Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya. Who is bigger in government and organization? There was a dispute about this.

Students on strike do not trust the government

In the same days, information was received about the letter written by Deputy CM Keshav to the CM regarding the recruitment of teachers. This letter was written to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on November 26. In which he demanded to release the revised merit list. Deputy CM Keshav wrote this letter referring to the recommendations of National Backward Classes Commission and UP Backward Classes Commission.

Students on strike have no faith in UP Govt. But, he is soft on Deputy CM Keshav in the same government. After the election, he wrote to the personnel department seeking details of the reservation in recruitment being done through outsourcing. The whole game is about OBC and Dalit votes. A part of the vote bank shifted to the Samajwadi Party in the recently held Lok Sabha elections. Patel, Kurmi, Kushwaha, Saini, Shakya and Pasi voters, who were with the BJP in the last four elections, have sided with the party.

Leaders of OBC community of BJP raised their voices

This vote bank went to Samajwadi Party. The result is that the Samajwadi Party, which won only 5 seats in 2019, has won 37 seats this time. While BJP’s graph has come down from 62 to 33. BJP’s entire thrust is now on getting back this vote bank. But the biggest stumbling block is the opposition’s reservation and anti-constitutional statement against the BJP.

BJP’s OBC community leaders and allies are raising their voices to oppose this. Their concern is to protect their vote base. This is the reason why Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya, despite being in the government, is seen against the government on many issues. The decision of the High Court in the 69 thousand teacher recruitment case was welcomed. While the court has said in its order that the education department has committed malpractice in giving reservation.

Apna Dal president Anupriya Patel came on the front foot

The NDA in UP is running on the slogan of Ashwaththama Hato, Naro Va Kunjron. All BJP allies along with Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya are in support of OBC candidates. Apana Dal president Anupriya Patel came on the front foot after poor results in the Lok Sabha elections. He wrote to CM Yogi Adityanath regarding irregularities in outsourcing and recruitment of 69 thousand teachers.

Suheldev Samaj Party President Om Prakash Rajbhar and Nishad Party President Sanjay Nishad also came forward. Now, if the backward and downtrodden classes come back due to these efforts, only BJP will benefit. This will also be tested in the by-elections to ten assembly seats in UP.
