Everyone is talking about the movie Kalki 2898 AD. The wait for the trailer of the film starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan comes to an end today. The makers are going to release its trailer on Monday at 7 PM. Earlier, a major update has come out regarding the villain of the film.
There have been speculations about the villain of Kalki 2898 AD for quite some time. Earlier it was said that Kamal Haasan will be the villain in the film, but he clarified that he has a cameo role in the film. Meaning he’s not a villain. Now reports are saying that Prabhas’ much-awaited film will feature Bengali actor Shashwat Chatterjee as the lead villain.
This report has strength as recently Shashwat Chatterjee has followed Kalki film director Nag Ashwin and Kalki’s official Instagram account. Although reports call Shashwat Chatterjee as Kalki’s villain, no information has been released by the makers yet.
Kalki 2898 AD publication date
Kalki 2898 is said to be the biggest film of this year. Made with a huge budget of around Rs 600 crore, the film is going to release in theaters worldwide on June 27. Kamal Haasan’s role in the first half of Kalki is said to be around 20 minutes. However, his role will be bigger in the second part. Apart from Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan and Nani, Mrinal Thakur is also said to have a cameo in the film.
Many of Prabhas’ previous films have not fared well. However, Salar was gone. But Prabhas has been away from the success of Baahubali and Baahubali 2 for a long time. It is believed that Prabhas’ film will bring back his lost Baahubali status.
