After the announcement of assembly elections in Haryana, Congress has started preparations with full force. In this regard, Haryana Congress in-charge Deepak Babria has issued a message for the candidates applying for the ticket. He said in his message that it is mandatory for the leaders seeking Congress ticket from Haryana to submit the booth committee list along with the application. Application will not be accepted without booth committee list.

Deepak Babria said that the applicants who have not submitted the booth committee list will have to submit the booth committee list by 26th August i.e. today evening. He said that if fake names are given in the booth committee, the application can be rejected. It has been stated that it is mandatory to have a booth committee to monitor the booths during the elections. The message stated that even the Lok Sabha elections have seen the results of better performance of the booth committees.

In his message, Haryana Congress in-charge Deepak Babria said that all the leaders and workers of Haryana Congress participated in the party’s Haryana Mange Hisab Abhiyan with enthusiasm, canvassed the 15 questions asked against 10 years of BJP’s misrule, held rallies everywhere and in favor of Congress. Afraid of the created atmosphere, the BJP government has announced the assembly elections ahead of time.

He said that due to the atmosphere created in favor of Congress in Haryana, our chances of victory have increased more than before. At the same time, BJP is in a hurry to hold elections as its support in the state is dwindling day by day. Due to which the Congress also has to complete the candidate selection process for the elections soon.

Deepak Babria said that this process of candidate selection will be started by the screening committee from 26th i.e. today. Personal interviews are being conducted for all prospective candidates who have applied to contest the elections. After this, the strengths and weaknesses of all potential candidates are being identified and their record is being prepared. Based on that the names will be placed before the screening committee.

He said that this process has revealed that most of the contenders have not handed over their booth committee list to the assembly convener and district convener. But everyone knows that those friends who cannot form their own booth committee will not be able to contest elections with their full potential. In such a situation, BJP can take advantage of our weakness. So it is mandatory to form a booth committee.
