When will the man-eating wolf be caught? Two attacks in 48 hours, all arrangements seem ineffective

The terror of wolves still persists in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. Wolves have claimed two more people in the last 48 hours. Forest department personnel are constantly scouring the forests to catch man-eating wolves. Cages and nets have also been placed at many places to catch them. The forest department team has captured 4 wolves so far, efforts are on to capture 2 wolves. The administration has now also started installing gates in people’s houses adjacent to the forest to protect the villagers from wolf attacks.

Man-eating wolves prey on people whose houses are built near forests and whose houses have no doors. The administration has now started the work of installing doors in the houses of those people. In Bhitta village of Mehsi tehsil of the district, the administration has sent a team to install doors in 21 houses. The women of the house say that this will keep their children safe even at night. He was afraid when there were no doors. Along with the forest department team, the villagers are also keeping vigil throughout the night with sticks in their hands.

The administration has deployed nine shooters in Bahraich forest in search of man-eating wolves. Three shooters are hunting wolves in the forest of Mahasi area. In an exclusive conversation with TV9 Bharatvarsh, the shooters said that they have been specially called. Different teams of shooters are deployed in different areas of the forest. The shooters have 315 bore rifles. Forest conservator Renu Singh is also coming on patrol at night.

Being monitored by drones

The entire area is being monitored by drones to catch man-eating wolves. Two wolves still roam free and are attacking the villagers. They are making innocent people their prey. Renu Singh said that his team is monitoring the area and the remaining two man-eating wolves will also be caught soon.

what is the matter

There are about 35 to 40 such villages in Mahasi taluk of Bahraich district where cases of wolf attacks are constantly coming up. The first attack took place in March this year where a 7-year-old child was attacked by a wolf. Wolves have so far claimed 10 lives in the area, most of them innocent children. Talking about the injured, so far 30 people have been injured in the wolf attack. When the forest department team investigated, it was found that there is a pack of 6 wolves in the area which are constantly attacking humans. Out of which 4 wolves have been caught so far. 2 wolves are still out of reach.
