He said that the casting was done by his wife Ekta Pathak Malhotra. Ekta Pathak was also the Associate Director of ‘Agnipath’. Karan Malhotra said that even Rishi Kapoor came to his wedding. According to Karan, Rishi came on stage to give an envelope. At that time his wife Ekta started saying ‘Rauf Lala…Rauf Lala’ on seeing him.
