‘The Greatest of All Time’ Box Office Collection
South superstar Thalapathy Vijay’s The Greatest of All Time is a big budget film. There was a lot of buzz about it even before its release, but after its release, the film disappointed everyone with its first Monday earnings. Due to the kind of business Thalapathy Vijay’s films have been doing, people had high expectations from GOAT, but on the fifth day of release, the film’s earnings dropped compared to the fourth day. Although GOAT has done well in the first weekend, the film tanked at the box office on Monday. The film has done a business of only 14 crore rupees on the first Monday.
The Greatest of All Time is Thalapathy Vijay’s second last film before his entry into politics. Thalapathy fans had high expectations from this film, but everything seems to have been shattered. The film’s pre-booking earnings were expected to break Leo’s record, but that doesn’t seem likely now. The film did well on its opening day, but on the second day the film’s earnings fell by 42 percent compared to the first day. However, the film returned with a bang at the box office with earnings on the third and fourth days, but on the fifth day it dropped even faster than before.

As for the fifth day collection, according to Secnilk, the film has earned only Rs 14.1 crore (estimated earnings). The fifth day’s earnings fell by 58 percent compared to the fourth day’s earnings. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, the film is doing well worldwide, the film has collected Rs 281 worldwide in four days. The film was not released in many Hindi national channels. The film did not receive a great response in the Telugu and Hindi territories.

GOAT is far behind Leo’s earnings
The Greatest of All Time was released on September 5. Thalapathy has played a double role in this film. According to the report, GOAT is a film with a budget of Rs 400 crore. If we compare it with Thalapathy’s blockbuster Leo, when Leo collected Rs. 211.25 crores, GOAT earned Rs. 151 crore business has been done. If we talk about the opening day earnings of GOAT, the film earned Rs 44 crores, but it dropped to Rs 25.5 crores on the second day itself. On the third day the film’s earnings saw a jump and the film collected Rs 33.5 crores and on the fourth day too the film earned Rs 34 crores with a good performance.
GOAT sequel announced
Thalapathy’s action thriller also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashant, Malvika Sharma and Prabhudeva in lead roles. While on one hand this film is being called the second last film of Thalapathy, on the other hand the makers have talked about making a sequel of the film on the day of its release. After GOAT, Thalapathy will be seen in a political thriller. Now it will be very interesting to see if Thalapathi Vijay will be seen again in the GOAT sequel or if the makers have thought of a new face to replace him.
