A fire broke out during the shooting of Coolie
South megastar Rajinikanth created a buzz with the film ‘Jailor’ released in the year 2023. The film earned a record break at the box office. Now the superstar is in discussion about his next film. These days, Rajinikanth is shooting for the film ‘Coolie’ under the direction of Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film was being shot at Visakhapatnam port in Andhra Pradesh, but a container caught fire during the shoot. However, the good thing is that the film crew escaped this tragedy.
Recently, Rajinikanth reached Visakhapatnam for the 40-day shoot schedule of Cooley. The shooting of the film was going on and suddenly a nearby container caught fire, due to which the shooting had to be stopped midway. However, no one was injured in the fire and the entire production team is safe.
The shooting started again
As soon as the terminal staff saw the smoke, they informed the fire service team of the port and five fire engines reached there to douse the fire. The cast and crew were very worried about the incident as the shooting location of ‘Coolie’ was nearby. However, after extinguishing the fire, the team has resumed work on the film. After the incident at Visakhapatnam port, questions have been raised about the security of the film set and its surroundings. However, the team of ‘Coolie’ is completely safe and shooting has resumed.
The soundtrack of ‘Coolie’ is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. After the success of films like ‘Vikram’ and ‘Leo’, fans of Lokesh Kanagaraj are eagerly waiting for his film. It is expected that the film could hit the theaters in the summer of next year and fans are eagerly waiting for its release.

‘Coolie’ will be an action thriller film, in which Rajinikanth will be seen in a negative role. Apart from Rajinikanth, actors like Soubin Shahir, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and Upendra will be seen in the film.
Aamir Khan’s entry in ‘Coolie’
Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan can be seen doing a cameo in this film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. However, no official announcement has been made yet, but if it happens, this will be Aamir Khan’s second film with Rajinikanth after the 1995 film ‘Atank Hi Tarank’.
Rajinikanth will show his magic in these films too
On the work front, Rajinikanth will be seen in TJ Gnanavel’s film ‘Vettaiyan’. The film will release on October 10. Apart from Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Manju Warrier and other actors will be seen in lead roles in the film. The actor may also act in the sequel of ‘Jailor’. ‘Jailor’ was released in 2023.
