Eid Miladunnabi Conference, Kota

Many major decisions were taken at the Eid Miladunnabi Conference held in Kota, Rajasthan. The biggest decision is that there will be no DJ playing anywhere at the wedding. Nikah will not be taught if the DJ plays and dances. Even if such an incident happens unintentionally in married life, marriage will happen only after repentance and forgiveness. All qazis or maulvis will implement this system. If a Qazi or Maulvi performs Nikah despite knowing everything, he will be socially ostracized.

Similarly, it has been decided to boycott bursting of firecrackers at weddings or functions. The Eid Miladunnabi Conference was organized with the courtesy of Tanzeem Ulema and Aimma-e-Masajid and All India Milad Council Unit, Kota. The program was sponsored by Tanzeem President Syed Tafazlur Rehman. Maulana Fazal Haque, State President of Milad Council, presided over it. A large number of ulemas and imams of mosques from all over the country participated in this program.

The proposals will be strictly implemented

The convention was addressed by Maulana Zikrullah of Bareilly and Maulana Syed Qadri of Mumbai Maharashtra. Hafiz Mustaqeem performed Naat. During this conference Tanzim Secretary Maulana Kamaruddin Ashrafi made some proposals in the direction of social reforms. He said that participation of women in DJ, crackers and processions should be opposed. He has requested the city and area procession committees to stop these atrocities with immediate effect. His proposal was supported by all scholars and dignitaries and said that this system would be strictly implemented.

Emphasis on increasing waqf income

Not only this, any Qazi who violates this arrangement while performing the Nikah will be socially ostracized. On this occasion, everyone unanimously opposed the Waqf Amendment Bill 2024. The matter is currently under consideration in the JPC. The Ulema said that a law should be made for Waqf, which would increase its income and use this income to educate the society and help the poor. Conference coordinators Moinuddin and Javed Jilani said that the All India Eid Miladunnabi Conference will be organized this month. The program will be held at the Dussehra Ground and will be addressed by Ulemas from across the country.
