Salman’s film is none other than ‘Wanted’, which also gave Salman’s career a different direction. Rohit said, “I made Singham because of ‘Wanted’. That was the period when multiplexes started. Everyone was doing romantic films. It is 2009. I was making ‘All the Best’. PVR opened immediately. And no one was making mass action films at that time. Then came Wanted.”
Rohit said that he went to a theatre. There he saw children clapping and whistling after watching Salman’s film, after which he realized that the time was right to make a mass entertainment film, as clapping and whistling had started in multiplexes as well. After that in the year 2011, he made ‘Singham’, which got a lot of love from people. The film grossed over 100 crores in India and was a hit.
How much was earned in the second half?
In the year 2014, the second part of this film ‘Singham Returns’ came. It also received a lot of love from the public and the film was a success at the domestic box office, grossing 140 crores. Now it remains to be seen what kind of magic ‘Singham Again’ will cast on the audience. However, Salman is rumored to be in a cameo and it is being said that he will be seen as Chulbul Pandey of ‘Dabangg’ in the film. However, no such information has been officially released.
