But on the day of the result, the opposite picture was seen. Naresh Mhaske registered a huge victory by a margin of more than 2 lakh votes. It was certain that Rajan would win. In fact, Naresh Mhaske killed the game.

Naresh Mhaske is the most trusted aide of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Thane. Naresh Mhaske is considered the right hand of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. Naresh Mhaske has traveled from corporator to MP in the last 12 years. In 2012, Naresh Mhaske was elected as a corporator in Thane Municipal Corporation for the first time. After seeing his working style, he was given a ticket again in 2017. He became a councilor again.
Always remained with Shinde like a shadow
In his second term as a corporator, he became the leader of the house in the Thane Municipal Corporation. After this, he was the mayor of Thane Municipal Corporation for three years from 2019 to 2022. After Eknath Shinde’s rebellion in Shiv Sena, he was always seen with Shinde like a shadow. After Eknath Shinde became the Chief Minister, Naresh Mhaske was given the responsibility of Shiv Sena Thane District Chief. Apart from this, he was made the spokesperson of the party.
