There is a good news for Mumbaikars. Because now the 40 to 50 minute journey from Marine Drive to Haji Ali will be completed in just 8 to 9 minutes. The second lane of Mumbai Coastal Road is now open from Tuesday (11 June). After that the journey will become faster. On Monday, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Devendra Fadnavis inspected this route. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde along with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar traveled together in a special vintage car along the coastal road in Mumbai to inspect the tunnel and after the inspection, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar inaugurated the coastal road in Mumbai today. The total distance of 6.25 km from Marine Drive to Haji Ali will take only ten minutes to pass through the tunnel, so there is good news for Mumbaikars as they will be able to travel at a faster speed. Due to this, the speed of traffic going towards Worli Bandra from Tardeo and Peddar Road will increase due to the traffic passing through this tunnel.
