Heavy rain warning in the state
Farmers and common people are waiting for rain. Clouds have been overcast for two-three days. Now the monsoon has reached the threshold of the state. Monsoon is entering Tal Konkan today. There are favorable conditions for monsoon in the state. Monsoon rain is expected in Tal Konkan on Wednesday. But in reality the monsoon has stopped in Goa itself. Monsoon rain is likely to enter Tal Konkan today. Heavy rain is expected in most parts of the state for the next three days from Saturday.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon rains entered Goa on June 4. It has started its next attack. A favorable environment has been created for rain. Therefore, there is a possibility of rain in Tal Konkan today. There will be rain in Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri, Kolhapur, Satara, Sangli, Pune and some districts of Marathwada. Therefore, there will be rain in the state including some districts of Vidarbha till June 10. Heavy rains will occur in most parts of the state from Saturday. Pre-monsoon rains will continue in the state for the next few days.
Farmers are eagerly waiting for the rain. Citizens are surprised by the heat in the state. There is a problem of heat in Mumbai and its surroundings. Citizens are also troubled by streams of sweat in the state. Everyone is waiting for the rain. Rain will bring great relief to the citizens.
A young man died due to lightning strike
A 19-year-old youth died after being struck by lightning during the second consecutive day of rain in Pune-Pipnari Chinchwad and surrounding areas. The incident took place in Charholi yesterday evening while he was returning home from work. The name of the deceased youth is Omkar Thackeray.
Keeping in mind the possibility of accidents during rain, the administration has appealed to the citizens to be cautious. Many people are losing their lives due to hoarding, lightning or accidents in the rain, caution is needed to prevent this from happening. Therefore, an appeal has been made to be careful while going out.
