Maharashtra assembly election dates can be announced anytime. Elections are going to be held in the state in the next two months. This time a fierce competition can be seen between Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi in Maharashtra. This is the reason why the major leaders of the Mahayutti are trying to show unity in the elections by holding a big meeting and removing the differences on seat sharing. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar will be present in the Nagpur meeting. The meeting will be held at Ramgiri Bungalow, the official residence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Nagpur. The meeting will be held between 10.30 p.m.
This is the first assembly election after Shiv Sena and NCP split into two factions. So the reputation of both groups is at stake. Both alliances are busy building their own strong fronts. Like Mahavikas Aghadi, Mahayuti is also churning for CM face, seat distribution and other candidates. The final approval on the distribution of Assembly seats may be taken in the Nagpur assembly.
BJP has claimed 164 seats
Although according to information, the seat formula in Mahayuti is almost decided, it is yet to be formally announced. It is also being known that BJP will contest the same number of seats in the next assembly elections as it contested last time. BJP has claimed 164 seats in the assembly. Shinde group and Ajit Pawar group may get remaining seats.
Information is also coming out that currently the work of distribution of 80 percent seats in the grand coalition has been completed. Only 20 percent seats are yet to be decided. A meeting of three big leaders of Mahayutti is being held in Nagpur for this decision. In this meeting, agreement or exchange will be discussed on 20 percent of the seats.
SEAT FORMULA FINAL IN TWO DAYS
According to information, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Vidarbha on September 23. Before that, the seat formula for assembly elections has to be decided. Due to this, this discussion will be held between the three leaders. Currently these three leaders are in Vidarbha. It is being said that the final formula for the distribution of seats in the grand alliance will be decided in the next two days.
