PM Modi visits Maharashtra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra on September 20. where he will participate in the national ‘PM Vishwakarma’ programme, celebrating the completion of one year of progress under Prime Minister Vishwakarma. PM Modi will also launch several development and start-up schemes. He will also lay the foundation stone of Mitra Park in Amaravati, Maharashtra.
Prime Minister Modi will reach Wardha in Maharashtra at 11:30 AM on Friday morning. Where they will give certificates and loans to the beneficiaries of PM Vishwakarma Yojana. They will also release a commemorative postage stamp to commemorate the one year anniversary. During his visit, PM Modi will also launch Acharya Chanakya Kaushal Vikas Yojana and Punyashlok Ahilyabai Holkar Mahila Start-up Yojana.
Will make a great gift for women and youth
The Prime Minister will launch the Maharashtra Government’s Acharya Chanakya Skill Development Center Scheme. This will train the youth in the age group of 15 to 45 years, so that they can become self-reliant and get various employment opportunities. About 1,50,000 youth of the state will be provided free skill development training every year. PM Modi will also launch Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Mahila Startup Yojana.
Under this scheme, startups led by women in Maharashtra will be assisted in the early stages. Financial assistance up to 25 lakh rupees will be provided under this scheme. Under the scheme, 25 percent of the total provision will be reserved for women belonging to backward classes and economically weaker sections. This will help women-led startups to become self-reliant and independent.
PM will lay the foundation stone of Mitra Park
At the same time, during his visit, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM Mitra) Park in Amaravati, Maharashtra. The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) is developing this park spread over about 1000 acres. Government of India approved setting up of 7 PM Mitra Parks for textile industry.

PM Mitra Park is a major step towards making India a global hub for textile manufacturing and exports. This will help build world-class industrial infrastructure, which will attract large-scale investment, including Foreign Direct Investment (FDI). Also, it will promote innovation and job creation in the sector.
