Lok Sabha Election Results 2024: The results of the Lok Sabha elections are almost clear. The public has given a majority to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). So once again the Modi government is being formed in the country. Big news is coming out that this third government of Modi will take oath on June 9. Rashtrapati Bhavan has issued a statement. According to this statement, Circuit-1 of Rashtrapati Bhavan will remain closed for the general public from Wednesday, June 5 to June 9. Therefore, preparations will be made for the swearing-in ceremony of the new government in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Elections were held in seven phases for 542 Lok Sabha seats in the country. The counting of votes took place on June 4. NDA maintained the lead from the beginning. But later India’s lead increased. Due to the decrease in BJP’s seats, they did not get majority on their own. Therefore, now they will have to form the government with allies. Clashes took place between NDA and India Alliance at many places.

Rashtrapati Bhavan closed for public

Rashtrapati Bhavan will remain closed to the general public till the next 9th for the swearing-in ceremony of the new government. Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a statement, Rashtrapati Bhavan (Circuit-1) will remain closed to the general public from 5 to 9 June 2024 due to preparations for the forthcoming swearing-in ceremony of the Council of Ministers.

BJP suffered losses in these states

NDA is leading on more than 290 seats. Out of these, BJP alone has won 240 seats. While Bharat Aghadi is leading on 230 seats. In this, Congress party has got a lead on 100 seats. BJP has suffered the most losses in Maharashtra, West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh. BJP’s seats have decreased here compared to 2019.

Prime Minister Modi thanked the people of the country for the victory of NDA in the Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi said that the people of the country have expressed their trust in NDA for the third consecutive time. This is an unprecedented moment in the history of India.
