A youth killed his wife and son in Haryana’s Jind. The young man committed suicide after killing his wife and son. 35-year-old Sonu, a resident of Mehrada village in Jind, was working as a goldsmith. Last night, he killed his 32-year-old wife Pinky and 10-year-old son Hemant with a sharp weapon. The incident came to light in the morning when Sonu’s elder brother’s son came to fetch milk and seeing the scene, his condition worsened. Hearing the noise, his mother reached the spot and called the people nearby. Sonu got married 11 years ago in Badhana village of Jind district.
Trapped in the verandah of the roof
People close to Mehrada village said Sonu lived with his family in a room on the roof, while his elder brother Satish lived downstairs. Satish works as an electrician and went on night duty. At night, Sonu brutally murdered his wife and son by turning up the volume of the TV and committed suicide by hanging himself with a rope on the roof verandah.
The police are investigating the matter
Sonu, a resident of Mehrada village, was working as a copy maker in Rohtak and his brother was working as an electrician at Rohtak PGI and was on night duty. Sonu’s mother had gone to her maternal uncle’s house and Satish’s wife and a boy were sleeping downstairs. There is an atmosphere of fear in the area after the incident. Currently, the police is investigating the entire matter.
