Anushka Sharma congratulated Virat Kohli
History is made. India won the trophy for the second time after defeating South Africa in the World Cup final. Virat Kohli’s bat was quiet throughout the World Cup but in the final he played a match-winning innings and led the team to victory in the most important match. This win was special in many ways. After the crushing defeat at the hands of Australia in the final of the 2023 World Cup, everyone was heartbroken. But exactly one year later, India won the World Cup and millions of countrymen smiled. Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma also congratulated him on the win in a special way on social media.
He shared two different posts. Congratulating Team India in the first post, he wrote – Our daughter’s biggest question was that when all the players were crying on the field on TV, was there no one to hug them? Yes my child, it has been adopted by 150 crore Indians. What a great win and great achievement. Congratulations to the champions.

Talking about the match, this match was very interesting and Indian team defeated South Africa by 7 runs. Virat Kohli scored 76 runs and became the man of the match. South Africa put up a good fight while chasing the target but could only manage 169 runs in reply to India’s 176 runs. Jasprit Bumrah was adjudged Man of the Tournament for his brilliant performance throughout the tournament.
