Police have released a case of murder of a youth in Link Road area of Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. The police have solved the murder mystery within 20 hours. The name of the murdered youth was Bhanu. Deceased Bhanu was a resident of Bihar and had been living alone in a rented room in Maharajpur for over a year and was working as a scrap dealer. The reason for the murder is said to be the deceased Bhanu’s one-sided love affair with the girl.
When the police investigated, they found that Bhanu was in love with a girl named Rani and wanted to marry her. Rani was already in love with a young man named Raju Thapa and wanted to marry him. The deceased often professed his love for the queen, causing much distress to the queen. Rani and Raju conspired to get Bhanu out of the way and killed him with a sharp weapon on Thursday night. After the murder, they dumped Bhanu’s body on the road near Idgah in Maharajpur and fled.
Police arrested the accused
As soon as ACP Rajnish Upadhyay got information about the incident, he sent a police team to investigate. Police launched an investigation and arrested Rani and Raju late on Friday night based on information from nearby CCTV footage. ACP Rajnish Upadhyay said that during police interrogation, both have confessed to the murder.
The youth was from Bihar
ACP Rajnish Upadhyay said that Maharajpur outpost in-charge of Link Road police station was patrolling at night with the team when a person was found lying on the road in front of Maharajpur Idgah at around 12.15 pm. When he approached him, he found the man lying dead with a sharp wound on the left side of his chest from which blood was flowing. The deceased was identified by the bystanders as Bhanu alias Nishant, son of Kishan Sharma, originally from Bihar, who was living alone on rent in Maharajpur area for the past one year, working as a scrap dealer. In this case, the accused were caught after investigation and based on the information of an informer. The case is of one-sided love in which the woman and her partner killed Bhanu together.
