The incident took place on the night of 25th August. A 14-year-old girl was raped by two miscreants near the cottage ward of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital in Jodhpur at night. Giving information, Jodhpur Police Commissionerate West ACP Anil Kumar said that the minor victim went missing from Sursagar Police Station area. The girl was angry with her parents and left home.

According to the victim’s family, after being reprimanded in the house, the girl went out in anger. After he did not return for a long time, a complaint was lodged with the police. It is alleged that the girl reached Mahatma Gandhi Hospital on Sunday night. Meanwhile, two cleaners at the hospital took the girl to a small shed in a secluded area of ​​the hospital premises. She was taken there and gang-raped. After committing the incident, the accused absconded. The police received information about the incident.

The statement of the victim has been taken. Police teams have been formed to nab the accused. The police claim that the accused will be arrested soon. Fateh Singh Bhati, Superintendent of Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, says that information has been received about gang rape of a girl child in the hospital premises. This kind of incident is very embarrassing. He said security guards are present at the hospital. But keeping security in mind, more security guards will be added.

Outrage over the rape incident in Jodhpur

This is the fourth case of minor rape in Jodhpur in last one month. An incident of rape of an 11-year-old girl has come to light. Later, a 3-year-old girl of a nomadic family was raped, in which the accused left her bleeding on the road after raping her. Two days after the incident, a case of attempted rape of a three-and-a-half-year-old girl has also come to light. Barely a week had passed when another 16-year-old girl was gang-raped at Jodhpur’s Mahatma Gandhi Hospital.
